West Kirby is a traditional seaside resort with a Marine Lake, promenade, parks and elegant shopping parades. It's a starting point for walks across the sands to Hilbre Islands. Wirral Country Park includes the former West Kirby to Hooton railway woodlands rich with wildlife and low cliffs near to Thurstaston Visitor Centre, grassy headlands rising above the miles of fine sands along the Dee Estuary. The views across to the Clwydian Mountains are superb.

PAINT A SQUARE FOR CLAIRE

The image ”Evening on the Marine Lake” was completed in June from 42 individual tiles, each painted and sponsored by members of the community. Another mural is to be painted and attached to the wall of Le Bizz in West Kirby.
